If you are housebound and need medical attention please ring for a home visit. Under all other circumstances please remember that a more comprehensive examination may be undertaken in the surgery. Short journeys are not generally harmful in cases of fever or acute illness.

Please also remember that a GP can normally see 4 patients in the surgery in the time taken to undertake 1 home visit. For this reason we request that home visits are only requested when really necessary.

Please telephone between 10.00 and 11:00 am if at all possible when arranging a home visit. This allows us to plan our day more efficiently.
